An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to drive forward the Aortic Aneurism Service, overseeing patients on the Aortic pathway and ensuring they are monitored. The post holder will be expected to assess, plan, and implement patient care, provide advice and guidance to the multidisciplinary team, and ensure all records and documentation are completed and relevant. The role involves managing staff, rotas, appraisals, recruitment and selection, resource control, and budgetary management for the area. This role will require enhanced communication skills to deal with the broad range of issues involved in the day-to-day management of the service.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be expected to assess, plan, and implement patient care, driving forward the Aortic Aneurism service, reviewing and writing protocols. Provide advice and guidance to the multidisciplinary team and ensure all records and documentation are completed and relevant. The role involves managing staff, rotas, appraisals, recruitment and selection, resource control, and budgetary management for the area.
