Do you enjoy working as part of a team?Our friendly and supportive team, based at Newmarket Hospital in Newmarket and covering the Bury North area, are looking for a Mental Health Practitioner to join us in providing an excellent service to Older People in our area. We provide a community-based service to people of any age with a dementia diagnosis, and to Older People with a functional mental health diagnosis such as complex needs.Youll be working alongside a close-knit multi-disciplinary team of Assistant Practitioners, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychological Therapists, Independent Prescriber and Psychiatrists as well as working closely with GP surgeries, PCNs, Social Workers within ACS and Care Agencies.We value the unique skills that all of the different professions bring to the team, and you will be supported within this role to utilise your specialist skills. You will be supported to attend any profession-specific training and learning events to support your ongoing CPD. We are looking for someone who is keen to contribute to innovative thinking and service development.We are looking for individuals who bring enthusiasm, creativity and energy to work in this vital area.
