Job Title: Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) AdvisorRead on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.Location: Ellesmere Port, United KingdomPAYE Direct Rates: 280.00 per day workedHours: Monday to Friday 8 hours per dayDuration: 6 MonthsJob Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join a dedicated team at a flagship Energy from Waste (EfW) facility in Ellesmere Port.Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the facility, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions.Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, producing reports and ensuring lessons learned are communicated and implemented.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits, including regular reporting to regulatory bodies.Deliver HSE training programs to staff, contractors, and visitors, fostering a strong safety culture.Provide guidance and support to all employees on HSE matters, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely.Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate risks associated with the facility's operations.Act as a key contact in emergency situations, providing leadership and coordination.Qualifications and Experience:NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.Proven experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within the energy from waste, renewable energy, or heavy industrial sectors.#J-18808-Ljbffr
