We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and motivated individual to join our friendly department as part of our Team.The Adult SLT Team are a respected team that works closely with multidisciplinary teams, with a positive record of developing innovative and patient-centred services. CPD is actively supported through regular clinical supervision, appraisals and excellent training opportunities.Main duties of the jobAs an experienced and highly specialist SLT, you will independently prioritise and manage a community caseload, which includes Community Hospital, Clinics, domiciliary and care homes.The successful candidate will have an opportunity to further develop their existing skills and work in an exciting and dynamic team.The ideal candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and have good time management and prioritisation skills.The post holder will be required to participate in service development initiatives.Detailed job description and main responsibilities Provide a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapy Service to clients referred with communication and/or swallowing difficulties to include assessment, diagnoses and treatment. Following assessment, and utilising specialist knowledge and skills, design and develop evidence-based treatment and management programmes to be implemented within the multi-disciplinary teams and the clients' family.
