Job Type: Full-time Location: Woodbridge, Suffolk Salary: Start date: 1st May 2025 We are the top British manufacturing site for the production and supply of golf driving range machinery.We are seeking a mechanical fitter with some basic electrical experience to join our production and assembly department.You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.This role requires an organised individual who can assemble machines efficiently and to a high standard, as well as comply with deadlines and help towards improving the product and processes.Day-to-day of the role: Assembly of products: General mechanical assembly of products.Wiring and connection of electrical controls to products.Complete tasks that require following work instructions and wiring diagrams.Read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals.Follow health, safety and quality guidelines at all times.Work collaboratively with engineers and other team members.Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.Working on site when required: Attend customer sites to assist with the install and servicing of equipment.Drive company vehicles to and from customer sites.Stay overnight to complete tasks if required.Skill and qualifications: Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.Proficient in mechanical fitting and basic electrical wiring.Strong communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of the workshop team.A positive attitude to problem solving and contributing to the success of the company.Experience as a mechanical / electrical fitter or in a similar role.Familiarity with tools, machinery and electrical equipment.Due to the office location and travel requirements, candidates will be required to drive.There is no public transport link to the office location.On-the-job training will be provided.
