Job Title: Warehouse Expansion Program Manager (CAPEX)Role Type: Full time Mon-FridayDuration: 12 months initially however this is a 3+ years project, so there is longevity there however contractors per the length of service policy can only work up to 3 years (with approval) after this time an 8 weeks break would be required and additional approvals for them to return after this point. Work Location: Blackgrange, ScotlandAdditional Information:The role is positioned in the Global Brands Supply, Project Engineering team providing Capital Project support to Manufacturing sites including distillation, brewing, spirits and beer packaging and maturation warehousing. The overall purpose of this team is to deliver capital expenditure projects.For this role this includes:Lead the delivery of Warehouse expansion projects.Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and cash forecasts.Embed an industry leading approach to safety in partnership with our supply chain and all workers on siteProactively manage risk that would impact project milestones, cost and quality.Manage co-ordination between various suppliers, consultants and client stakeholdersManage the project steering committee to:o Ensure stakeholders are engaged in the project, informed about relevant risk and aware of decisions and support requiredo Ensure the project team get clear direction to allow them to work effectivelyPrepare and present regular progress reports, including project status, financial performance, and risk assessments.Support assessment of the projects' carbon emissions and implementation of carbon reduction initiatives.Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and meeting minutes.SkillsExcellent communicator.Strong leadership and team management and project management skills.Advanced budget management skills and proven commercial acumen.Ability to manage complex risks and issues effectively.Proficiency in project management software and tools.EducationBachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing large-scale capex programmes or projects, with a proven track record of successful delivery.
