Bumi Armada UK Limited (BAUK) currently have a permanent staff opportunity for a Shift Team Leader within its offshore Production Team onboard the Armada Kraken FPSO team on a 3:4:3:5 rotational pattern. Responsible for directing and co-ordinating activities to provide daily leadership for the Production Team members ensuring that the process plant and systems are optimised to meet environmental and production targets. The successful candidate will have relevant offshore experience, and will have the following responsibilities:Responsible for the safe and cost-effective operation and maintenance of the production process and utilities with minimal environmental impactAct as the Responsible Person/Area Authority for all operations in the Production Department requiring a work permit and ensure that all safety precautions are taken and the work is carried out safelyEnsure all risks in the production system, utilities operation and maintenance are identified, and comply with proceduresEnsure knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit systems, operational and emergency procedures, Company policies and instructions; and ensure that they are understood by all personnelCommunicate closely with the HSE Advisor on HSEQ mattersProvide guidance to all crew members in matters pertaining to safe working practices in compliance with the installations Safety Management Systems (SMS)Maintain accurate records and ensure that all manuals and drawings are kept current, ensuring that any updates are highlighted and sent to Document Control for processingSupport compliance with Independent Competent Person (ICP) requirementsAgree daily priorities with the Production Supervisor, Control Room Operations (CROs) and Production Technicians and ensure these are performed in a safe and cost-efficient manner, with minimal environmental impact and in accordance with the installations SMSProvide guidance on safe operations to the Production TeamAttend daily meeting with Maintenance Supervisor, CMMS Planner and other team leaders to discuss activities at the yesterday, today and tomorrow (YTT) morning meetingLiaise with Marine Department regarding offtake operations, cargo oil and water reprocessing through the production plantLiaise with the Maintenance Department regarding power generation, steam plant and utilities plant operationsMaintain and control the Override and Inhibits Register throughout the installationEnsure Locked Open / Locked Closed (LO/LC) register for the installation is actively managed by the Production DepartmentLiaise with Lead Mechanical Technician to ensure the Flange Management Register and Small Bore Tubing Register is updated, coordinating all reinstatement testing and sign-off as per procedureEnsure the safe and efficient isolation, de-isolation of all process plant returning process equipment to service following maintenance in strict compliance with the companys safe isolation and reinstatement of the plant (SIRP) manualVerify/ check pressure testing/ leak testing/ service testing packs for returning process equipment to service following maintenance are in strict compliance with the companys safe isolation and reinstatement of the plant (SIRP) manualEnsure appropriate data is collected, collated, and reported in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy in support of production optimisation and client quality expectationsComplete production loss reporting for any unplanned shutdowns, ensuring the root cause is identified and preventative measures are implementedOptimise chemicals using the Laboratory Technician, ensuring sufficient stocks are maintained offshoreCreate detailed corrective maintenance work orders for any defects on Production Systems for discussion at the daily maintenance meeting, to enable planning with the relevant DepartmentsAssist with the planning, preparation and coordination of all shutdowns and the implementation of safety procedures and practicesPerform ad-hoc Control Room Operator duties when requiredEnsure all work, including that of third parties, is carried out in accordance with the Companys procedures and standardsEnsure production plant deficiencies are identified, highlighted and resolutions are sought by liaising with the relevant DepartmentWhen on nightshift ensure daily morning report is complete and accurate and ready for review by the Production Supervisor and OIMManaging direct reports including: managing general conduct and behaviours; allocating and monitoring workloads and work progress; and assessing learning and development needs and ensuring these are addressedPerform any other tasks as reasonably required
