Their expert technical-capabilities with a uniquely people-centric approach help to deliver entirely bespoke MRO and quick response solutions.This is a Permanent Position based in Stansted.5/4 on/off shift pattern, working 07:00 to 19:00.Salary and BenefitsCompetitive salary and allowancesCompany pensionPrivate medical insuranceReferral programmeSick payCycle to work schemeGym membershipThe RoleThe primary purpose of this role is to be part of the team for all maintenance and repair activities in the workshop while liaising with the Team Leaders and Workshop Manager to meet daily work demands.Other duties involveWorking on various maintenance and repair workscopes as part of the day-to-day operation in a busy workshopWorking on effectively turning around engine shop inputs while meeting company objectivesMeeting and maintaining the standards set by the business and the regulatory authoritiesEnsuring all work is carried out IAW the relevant manualsMaintaining the expected quality standardsAdhering to the Company's Health and Safety and Security Policies at all timesComplying with Human Factors at all timesIn order to be successful in this role the Engine Mechanic will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributesTime served aerospace industry apprentice with multiple years experience post apprenticeshipPrevious experience of working in a busy engine shop environmentKnowledge of engine shop manuals and associated manuals including relevant ATA chaptersAwareness of Part 145 and FAA regulationsA previously held company approval on at least one of the following engine types: CFM56, LEAP, V2500, RB211, CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G or Trent700Must be able to follow Technical Instructions from ESM, CMM, SRM, IPC etc.Right to live and work in the UKIf you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.Please note that due to the high level of applicants we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates regarding this role.For this opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.
