Senior Technical Manager Introduction: Role: Senior Technical ManagerLocation: BristolReporting to: Technical DirectorWorking for: 5 developerSalary: Competitive base salary, annual bonus and company car or car allowanceWorking arrangements: Hybrid working between office, site and home-based working on offerImmediately available Senior Technical Manager About of the role:A rare and exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Manager to join a 5 developers South West regional team based in Bristol. As Senior Technical Manager, you will lead a number of Technical and Engineering functions for their South West region, based in Bristol (just off M4).Reporting to the Technical Director; the successful candidate will be accountable for the overall coordination of all design and utility information between external consultants, contractors and internal departments. They will lead their teams to ensure that all approvals and quotes are obtained in a timely manner and that high quality and correct information is issued to other departments.The successful candidate will also include set, monitor, and deliver targets, produce accurate and timely reports for the business and be responsible for the development of their team.You will challenge others to drive performance improvementSenior Technical Manager About you:Experience working as a Technical Manager for a leading residential developer or contractorA degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (HND/HNC considered)Extensive experience in technical management, pre-construction, or housing developmentProven track record in design management, engineering solutions, and project deliveryExperience liaising with utility providers and regulatory bodiesStrong stakeholder engagement, communication, and budget management skillsAn established Technical Manager who embodies our company values; a straightforward and skilled communicator, who is creative and experienced wit generating new ideas within architectural and engineering functions.
