Position: Technical Manager (x2 roles)Reporting to: Senior Technical Manager and Technical Director Region: Bristol and covering the South West region Working arrangements: Flexible working arrangements on offer About us: 5 house builder Immediately available Technical Manager About you?Strong Technical knowledge base from a Technical Design background of either architectural or civil engineeringEducated to HNC / HND in a construction related qualificationExperience working in the housebuilding industry preferably gained with a high-volume house builderExperience working as a Technical Coordinator looking to step up or an existing Technical Manager Experience working for a regional or national house builderTechnical Manager About the role:As Technical Manager, you will work as part of the Technical team to support delivery across our Bristol and South West housing developments. Your focus will be on the larger, house-building schemes. As part of your responsibility will be to make a profit by acquiring land and planning, designing, constructing and selling dwellings thereon, all in accordance with the operating policies and controls of the Company plc.Technical Manager Key Responsibilities:To assist and co-operate with the Land Department in the investigation and acquisition of development sitesBe responsible that detailed technical investigation, design, optimisation is secured and that proper liaison is maintained with statutory authorities, and that all necessary documentation and drawings are produced to enable contracts to be let and a site to be developed by the Building DepartmentTo be responsible for the preparation of detailed constructional drawings, the negotiation and securing of technical and statutory approvals to achieve the optimum timing programmesTo be responsible for identifying and resolving technical design and constructional problemsTo assist in the supervision and administration of the Company Technical functionTechnical Manager What about the benefits package?
