Autonomous role working nationally to drive this division of the companyUK manufacturer with focus on sustainability and qualityExciting growth plans in the UK following recent acquisitionDiverse role of business development, account management, product training, and mentoringExciting step into management with 1 report THE COMPANY: With a heritage of nearly 70 years in the UK medical devices market, this UK manufacturer offers a complete theatre package and infrastructure solution to the NHS and private hospitals. A recent acquisition by a European medical group means they will strengthen their offering in 2025 and grow their manufacturing capabilities in the UK. They offer a structured training and induction process and look for driven clinical sales professionals. THE ROLE: This is a National Business Development role, driving their operating table and beds division of the business across the UK and to build on the successes they already have. The role will involve identifying and winning new tenders as well as converting ad hoc sale opportunities. Part of the role will encompass the implementation of trials and clinical projects with existing hospital customers and managing stakeholders in this process. In addition, the UK BDM will have a direct report that they will mentor and work closely with to deliver NHS customer training and product support where needed. Typical customer touch points will be with Theatre Managers, Scrub teams, Consultants, Procurement and EBME staff. REQUIREMENTS:Medical device sales experience, ideally in theatre. Capex experience will enhance your applicationA clinician who has moved into a commercial position and looking for their next challengePrevious experience of delivering product training, product evaluations and trialsStrong admin, organisation and territory planning to cover a national remitFull driving licence and happy travelling daily to see customers.
