V7 are working with a Data Centre Contractor who are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their Consultancy arm of the business, to work closely with one of their end clients. You will work closely with the Project Manager to assist in planning, executing, and closing projects. This role involves supporting the overall project lifecycle, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining project documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.This role is based in the office 5 Days per week, in the E14 Area. Key Responsibilities Support Project Management: Assist the Project Manager in all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closing, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, meeting minutes, risk logs, and change requests.Coordination: Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and alignment on project tasks and milestones.Monitor Progress: Track and report project progress, highlighting any risks, delays, or issues and suggesting corrective actions.Budget Assistance: Support in tracking project budgets, processing invoices, and ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.Compliance: Ensure that all project activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and relevant standards.Issue Resolution: Identify potential problems and work proactively with the Project Manager to resolve any issues or conflicts.Meetings: Schedule and participate in project meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.Risk Management: Assist in identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies.Required Skills and QualificationsEducation: Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.Experience: 1-3 years of experience in project management, coordination, or a related role (preferably in [industry, e.g., construction, IT, etc.]).Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.Preferred QualificationsCertifications: CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management), PMP (Project Management Professional), or similar certification is a plus.Industry Knowledge: Experience working on Data Centre Projejcts is highly desirable.Advanced Skills: Familiarity with agile or other project management methodologies is advantageous.
