The Pension Protection Fund (PPF) is looking for a Non-Executive Director to join the Board.Non-Executive Directors provide independent oversight of the organisations governance and strategy. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the PPF operates effectively and efficiently while upholding its legislative responsibilities.Board members are responsible for monitoring financial controls, contributing to strategic direction, and overseeing executive appointments and remuneration, subject to approval by the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. The Board also produces an annual report outlining these non-executive functionsyou can review the latest Pension Protection Fund Annual Report 2023/24Non-Executive Directors typically commit around 26 days per year, including 8 Board meetings plus committee responsibilities.
