FM Lead TechnicianLocation: MoraySalary: 39,500 per annumHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 17:00Holidays: 32 days (including bank holidays)Requirements: PVG certification (for work in schools), clean driving licenceAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled FM Lead Technician to join our team in Moray. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with contractual and legal requirements while maintaining high service standards. This role requires a proactive individual who can oversee maintenance operations, ensure high-quality service delivery, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the facilities management team.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systemsConducting emergency lighting testing, fault finding, and remedial repairsEnsuring all work is completed within agreed timeframes and in compliance with contractual obligationsMonitoring and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards in line with company policies and legislationProviding professional oversight and quality assurance on all maintenance tasksIdentifying and implementing innovations to enhance service delivery and operational efficiencyLiaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and excellent service levelsMaintaining accurate records of work completed, compliance checks, and asset conditionsSupporting the Operations Manager in coordinating maintenance schedules and resource allocationAssisting in training and mentoring junior team members to enhance team competencyEnsuring compliance with BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and other relevant industry standardsSkills & Experience RequiredEssential:Electrical or mechanical backgroundCompetent in fault finding and performing PPM tasks within required timeframesFull UK driving licenceStrong understanding of compliance, health & safety regulations, and risk assessmentsDesirable:18th Edition qualification (preferred)Experience in portable appliance testing and emergency lighting testingCommercial gas/plumbing experience (preferred)Salary & Benefits39,500 per annum32 days annual leave (including bank holidays)Regular working hours (Monday to Friday, 08:00 17:00)Opportunities for training and professional developmentJBRP1_UKTJ
