We are partnering with a fast-growth SME, operating under the umbrella of a larger group. They design and manufacture Pumps, and after entering the market 2-3 years ago have rapidly increased revenue. They are now looking to continue this growth into another market segment.They are seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and convert new customers within the Process Manufacturing sector (Chemicals, Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical & Cosmetics Manufacturing, Packaging) across the UK.ResponsibilitiesIdentify new business opportunities across Process ManufacturingManage the entire sales cycle from identification through to engagement, negotiation, design (supported by technical experts within the business) and successful onboarding of the customerDeliver significant revenue increases year-on-yearCollaborate with the wider business to ensure most effective market and product positioningQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally within Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringStrong exposure to Sales/Business Development, including demonstrable ability to win new clientsKnowledge of Process Manufacturing customersExcellent communication and negotiation skillsFocused and goal-orientedThe head office is UK-based (South East England), but this is a remote position with travel to office and potential customers as required.On offer is a salary of 50,000 to 60,000, plus car allowance and commission.
