Your expertise will be invaluable as you work closely with the Service Director and the Head of Legal Services to provide specialist input that drives service improvements and business strategies.As a Senior Solicitor/Lawyer, you will represent the Councils in complex and high-risk adult social care and Court of Protection legal proceedings. Your ability to deliver clear and consistent legal advice will be crucial in guiding officers, members, and clients through challenging situations. You will also have the opportunity to procure external legal assistance as needed and manage a diverse caseload while maintaining the highest professional standards.We are looking for a qualified solicitor, barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with substantial experience in adult social care and Court of Protection proceedings. Your strong knowledge of legislation and case law, combined with your ability to negotiate and persuade at a senior level, will help you thrive in this role.Your personal qualities, including creativity and tact, will enable you to provide innovative solutions to complex legal issues.
