We also consider the sustainability of everything we do, challenging ourselves to make responsible design decisions.Due to recent business growth, were looking for a talented experienced interior designer to join our team (minimum of 5 years' relevant UK work experience after graduating). This is a full-time role working out of our office in Manchesters Northern Quarter.Hands-on experience of retail design projects is something we're particularly keen to find. Previous applicants do not need to reapply.The role:The role will include the following aspects:Generating initial concepts and ideas for retail and leisure environments providing the necessary supporting visuals, moodboards, plans, and information to bring your designs to life.General research and specification of lighting, furnishings, fittings, materials, and finishes.Demonstrating strategic design thinking to ensure concepts are fully considered from an end-user perspective.Liaising with clients, confidently managing projects to deliver their expectations.Attending meetings on-site with contractors where necessary, ensuring the results are true to the initial creative vision.Creating detailed and accurate drawing packages.Continually looking for ways to improve how we work and operate.Managing and mentoring design team members to ensure our collective skills continue to develop.What wed like you to bring:Degree-level education in interior design or similar subjectAt least 5 years of experience working in interior design in the UK after completing your degreeA positive can-do' attitude and the ability to work collaboratively to share your ideasExcellent written and verbal communication skills and an excellent command of EnglishStrong organisational skills and attention to detailA love of teamwork, plus the confidence and self-motivation to work under your own steam when necessaryProficiency in:AutoCad (and the ability to develop floorplans and elevations) - ESSENTIALSketchup (and the ability to use rendering software) - ESSENTIALAdobe Creative Suite (particularly Indesign and Photoshop) - ESSENTIALEnscape - DESIRABLEWhat we can offer you:A great selection of clients to work with - no day is ever the same and you wont get bored!A collaborative, inclusive, supportive, and flexible working environment we understand the importance of 'give and take' and recognise that we need to work together to get the best results28 days holiday per year pro rata (plus bank holidays and an extra paid day off to celebrate your birthday)Competitive salaryFree private health insurance, life insurance, income replacementCycle to work schemePlease send us a cover letter with your cv, PLUS A PORTFOLIO WHICH SHOWCASES YOUR EXPERIENCE.We look forward to hearing from you.
