A leading professional services firm is looking for a Benefits Manager to lead the operational day to day delivery of the employee benefits agenda. Reporting into the Head of Benefits & Reward, this role will support employees with their benefits related queries and escalate insurance claims issues to major account contacts and intermediaries . Responsibilities also include accountability for new joiner inductions as well as for all benefits related decisions taken and advice offered, liaising with external and internal tax advisors and benefits intermediaries, contributing to policy parameters, networking with global mobility peers in the sector and providing advice to individual secondees on aspects of their package. The successful personal will lead on the Benefits hub renewal project work and ongoing development. Other responsibilities include:Supporting employees with their benefits related queries, specifically complex aspectsSupporting employees through critical illness and income protection claims processes, adapting support to meet the needs of individualsSupporting the work which goes into wellbeing promotions such as Mental Health Awareness Week and other content throughout the yearReviewing servicing standards and meeting quarterly and/or twice yearly (as appropriate) with the various benefit provider organisations, evaluating the extent to which these services are performingAccountability for monthly Benefits hub reporting, ensuring this is accurately and efficiently recorded and dealing with any issues which occur either internally or externallySupporting HR BPs in their understanding and interaction with our occupational health service and playing an active role in developing and supporting our sickness absence processes so we can better manage absence and costsAccountability for benefits invoicing, raising any issues with suppliers Required experience:Proven experience of benefits working at managerial level, ideally within a partnership environment Focused on operational delivery, with a desire to take accountability and ownership for operational decisions within a clear strategic framework Process-driven thinker, keen to suggest process changes and improvements where helpfulSolution orientated, with a flexible and commercial mindset, wanting to get the very best from third parties relationshipsConfident communicator verbally, relishing presentation opportunities where these arise, confident in promoting how to make the most of the benefits package available at the firmTechnically adept and inquisitive, with good retention of technical detail - able to translate complex technical issues for employees in a simple concise wayPrior experience of the management of the benefits aspects of international secondmentsPrior experience of flexible benefits salary sacrifice structures and platform implementations/renewalsJBRP1_UKTJ
