Job Title

Job purpose:To support our lab management team with maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in our laboratories.Responsibilities:Maintenance of adequate stock levels of general laboratory consumables in the warehouse, including common chemicals, reagents, enzymes, media etc.Assist with goods-in procedure: receiving, documenting, and distributing deliveries including working with inventory softwareSupport with consumable and reagent inventory, keeping shared log files up to dateAssist with glassware processing which involves the use of autoclave, glass wash and drying cabinetAssist with lab rotas such as cleaning, equipment maintenance and inspectionPreparation of buffers as required by lab management and scientific teams Overseeing correct disposal of laboratory waste and assisting with waste removal as required incl. tip box recycling schemeMonitoring lab environments (i.e. room temperature and AC-usage, hand-wash facilities, CO2 facilities)Ensure compliance with Quality policies, SOPs and Health and Safety proceduresUndertake any other appropriate roles and responsibilities that reasonably fall within the role holders skills and experience as requestedPerson Specification:Min. 1 year experience in industry or academia in similar positionsAttention to detail and ability to follow instructionsWilling to learn and flexibility What we can offer:Competitive salary + comprehensive benefits packageLocation: Over, CambridgeIf you are interested in joining the 4basebio team, please forward your CV to recruitment@4basebio.comDue to the high number of applicants, if you do not hear back from us within six weeks, we thank you for your interest, but please assume you have not been selected for interview on this occasion.
