Overhead Lines Planner Salary range: 56,000 - 66,873 (working a 48-hour week)Location: StocktonEnrolment into our double matched pension schemeA car allowance schemePosition Overview:The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering overhead line projects. Ensure delivery of all overhead line projects safely, to a quality standard, programme, and budget and to the satisfaction of the client.Key Responsibilities:Ensure that all work planned is achieved in a timely manner adhering to all relevant DNO guaranteed standardsComplete task instructions that include all necessary documentation such as work instructions, safe digs, switching schedules, construction plans, page per poles etcManage the completion and submission of all OHL site construction works (as-built drawings etc.) to the Client where necessaryChair, document and manage the actions from the internal weekly team progress (programme) meetingsControl and manage all overhead line programmes and KPI registersManage the organising of all support activities where required (such as plant and machinery, TMA etc.)Manage the documentation for planned work such as interruption cards, safe digs, surveys, council notices etcEnsure that all work planned has been commercially assessed and all income, costs and variations have been consideredManage the submission of monthly invoices to the Client for works planned and completedManage the completion of weekly and monthly reports where requiredControl and manage monthly income and cost levels relevant to work planned.Provide KPI, planned and actual, performance and monitoring information to the Contract ManagerCarry out safety audits as per the business audit schedulesCarry out any other general or ad hoc tasks as requiredKey Competencies:LeadershipCommunicationTeam workingCustomer serviceDecision makingOperational managementEssential Qualifications & Experience:ONC in Electrical Engineering or Overhead Line authorisation codes held for 5 years plus (not under supervision) relevant to switching and linking on LVExperience planning both LV and HV works in DNO areasFull UK Driving LicenceUse of Microsoft Office ApplicationsCustomer/Client ManagementDesirable Qualifications & Attributes: HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
