Specifications TechnologistBedfordshireCompetitive SalaryExcellent opportunity for an experienced Specifications Technologist to join a large successful food business which is growing.My client is in urgent need of an experienced Specifications Technologist to join the business as they are growing at pace.This is a site-based role in Bedfordshire with some travel to additional sites nearby once a week so you must be able to drive and have a car.The hours of work are Mon Thurs 8.30am 5.00pm & Fri 8.30am 4.30pmReporting into the Technical Manager your responsibilities will include supplying/creating specifications and associated information to customers to facilitate trials and product launches. Responding to customer enquiries on topics including food safety, food scares, allergens legislation and regulations changes, raw material/supplier approvals managing risk assessments and ingredient declarations as well as managing food claims.
