You'll help them thrive in a structured and supportive environment, while also promoting their education, well-being, and social development.Your Key Responsibilities:Be a mentor and role model: Act as a keyworker and inspire positive change in the young people you supportCreate a safe and welcoming environment: Offer stability and structure to help young people growSupport development: Encourage participation in educational, recreational, and social activitiesAdminister medication when required and assist in their well-beingComplete key documentation: Help with care planning, reports, and risk assessmentsFollow the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and maintain a high standard of careWho We're Looking For:Previous experience in care is helpful, but not essentialA Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People's Workforce (or willingness to work towards it)Strong communication and team skillsThe ability to stay calm and level-headed in challenging situationsA compassionate, caring, and positive attitude - your drive to help others is key!If you're ready to be part of something meaningful, to give vulnerable young people the support they deserve, and to grow in a role that's both challenging and incredibly rewarding - we want to hear from you!
