HEAD OF LOGISTICS Department Operations Reporting to Administration Director Location Head Office Hours Full time ROLE OVERVIEW An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Anya Hindmarch as Head of Logistics. Reporting to the Administration Director, you will take full responsibility for the logistics and operations supporting our successful fashion brand. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that processes in place that are fit-for-purpose to support our growing ecommerce, retail and wholesale businesses ensuring the logistics, warehousing and stock processes run smoothly and efficiently. As a well-established, founder led business Anya Hindmarch offers a supportive and fun environment in which to lead operations. Experience with retail technology systems (ERP, E-Comm, EPOS) is a must, but specific systems training will be provided to the relevant candidate with SAP BusinessOne experience setting you at a clear advantage. The successful candidate will report to the Administration Director and be based out of our Battersea head office, requiring occasional travel to our retail and 3PL sites. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Day to day management of our 3PL Warehouses (UK, Italy, Japan) Working with the merchandising and wholesale team to ensure replenishment and trade orders are despatched and market is fully supported Develop SLAs, SOPs and performance reporting with our 3PLs and carriers Line managing the Junior Logistics Manager and Bespoke & Logistics Administrator Developing dashboarding and reporting on logistics costs and performance, budgeting and cost management Responsibility for all freight forwarding and last mile delivery Planning for future changes in our stock and warehousing needs Oversight and ownership of all stock processes (stock movements, stock takes, stock reporting, training) Working with retail and ecommerce teams on improving our multi-channel proposition e.g. shipfrom-store, click&collect, same-day delivery, bespoking and reverse logistics KEY SKILLS 3-5 years experience in logistics with a B2B/B2C SME.Educated to degree level (desirable). An interest in technology or logistics and its role in retail/fashion businesses. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with a range of audiences. Confident negotiator and ability to performance manage suppliers to SLA.Self-motivated, organised individual with a strong eye for detail and diligence in seeing tasks through to completion. The ability to plan, organise, lead and work on multiple projects with varied priorities and deadlines. Strong analytical skills, with a natural ability to problem solve. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with a variety of WMS, ERP (SAP BusinessOne is preferable), EPOS systems is essential. Experience managing full supply chain logistics - freight from suppliers to 3PL to end consumer is essential. Working knowledge of customs procedures, incoterms, duties and taxes is essential.
