Director of Operational Transformation80,000 - 85,000 (dependent on experience)Full Time/PermanentCompass Associates is proud to partner exclusively with a leading social care charity in their search for an experienced Director of Operational Transformation. This pivotal role will oversee the transformation of adult social care services, driving service improvement, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability across adult services. If you're a strategic leader with a track record in driving change, managing large-scale operations, and improving service delivery, this role is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact in a values-driven organisation.Key Responsibilities:Lead the operational transformation of adult social care services, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and person-centred care across the organisation.Develop and implement a strategic housing plan to create sustainable, personalised environments that enhance independence and quality of life.Drive operational efficiencies, improve service quality, and ensure financial sustainability. Oversee budget management and resource allocation to maximise impact.Management of Assistant Directors, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the alignment of services with both national and local priorities.Oversee the reinvigoration of training and development initiatives, ensuring staff are equipped with the necessary expertise to meet the complex needs of those we support.Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards, embedding a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Deputise for the Managing Director of Adult Services, playing a key role in leadership and strategic decision-making.Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance the stakeholder experience, ensuring that services are shaped by the voice of the autistic community.Key Requirements:Proven senior leadership experience in adult social care, particularly within residential and supported living services.Demonstrable experience leading operational transformation, service improvement, commercial activities and financial sustainability initiatives.Strong background in housing strategy development, ensuring personalised and sustainable care environments.Expertise in workforce development, particularly in equipping staff with the specialist knowledge needed to support autistic adults.Financial acumen with a solid understanding of budget management, resource allocation, and cost control.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and across various stakeholders.A strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation while maintaining a person-centred approach to service delivery.Experience working within integrated care systems and collaborating with health and social care partners to improve outcomes.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and statutory requirements, including safeguarding, health & safety, and CQC/CI standards.Important Notes:This role will be primarily home-based but will require travel to sites across the UK, including Scotland and Wales.
