Job Title

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting the mechanical installation of photovoltaic (PV) trackers, fixed tilt, floating and special structures (carport) on a large-scale solar project. To ensure that work is executed according to the manufacturers installation manual, project specifications, and safety standards. The role requires close collaboration with the site manager, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders.Key TasksOversee material delivery form suppliersMonitor installation works, piling, upper structure, module installation, cable dressingPossible interaction with other stakeholders such as engineering and surveyorSupervise monitor mechanical worksMonitor lifting activitiesEnsure quality inspections of materials, (grainsize gravel, concreate, steel etc..)Comply with building codes, safety regulation and environmental standardsInspections of the works and their documentationTechnical inputs during executionMaintaining the quality management systemSupport on weekly and monthly progress reportingReport delays and breachesRequirements Technical education in : Construction , Mechanical engineering1-3 Years of experience in construction, preferably in PV, but wind, gas and Oil can also be suitableStrong expertise in constructionGood expertise in MS officeStrong communication skills in English, Other languages - German (desired / beneficial), Spanish / French / Italian / Dutch (is a plus)Ability to manage multiple technical tasks and stakeholdersFamiliar construction, and logistics of solar projectsTechnical understanding of solar PVWillingness to travel up to 99%Additional informationA truly international working environment with colleagues from all over the worldAn open-minded, friendly, dynamic, and highly motivated teamInteresting and challenging tasks, and thus a scope of professional growth and developmentWe encourage both team work and personal responsibilityVery good opportunities for professional and personal developmentCompetitive remuneration, and other exciting benefits
