The Role: My client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Upholsterer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with R&D Engineers to refine prototypes, ensuring that they are ready for testing and final design before entering the pre-manufacture phase. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of state-of-the-art medical furniture, working on projects that make a real difference in healthcare settings. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with R&D Engineers to finalise upholstery designs for medical-grade furniture. Work on prototypes, providing expert input into material selection, stitching, and finishing techniques. Ensure that designs meet both functional and aesthetic requirements for testing and pre-manufacture. Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Adhere to health, safety, and quality regulations in all aspects of the role. About You: Strong upholstery background with relevant qualifications (ideal). Experience in pattern making, with the ability to create precise and functional designs. Must be proactive, with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for excellence. Eligible to work in the UK. Ideally, a driver due to the site location being in a more rural area.
