Here at our beautiful home in Christchurch in Dorset, we are looking to welcome a new Wellbeing Manager to lead our fabulous Activity team.You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.Meaningful activity and purpose are essential elements of our care plans, and the wellbeing of our residents is directly related to their engagement in the social life within the home.You'll probably have worked in a care home before, or possibly you're involved within social activities for older people in the community.You'll be able to build and deliver an inspiring activity calendar, and lead your motivated team to work together bringing your plans to life.Responsibilities:Lead the Activity team to create engaging activities for residents.Develop and implement a comprehensive activity calendar.Foster social engagement among residents.Requirements:Experience in a care home or social activities for older people.Strong leadership and organizational skills.The role is for 40 hours a week, and we pay 13.91 an hour, resulting in a salary of approximately 29,000.#J-18808-Ljbffr
