An experienced Communications and Content Strategist is required to join a busy award-winning agency in the heart of Guildford.Reporting to the MD, the Comms and Content Strategist will advise our clients on how to tell their stories through impactful content and communications. Youll bring a strategic mindset and a holistic approach that allows you to work with clients to uncover and share their business, thought leadership, people, purpose, culture and values stories. Youll identify the most effective channels and the most innovative formats to convince and convert their desired target audience to drive results.You could work across a variety of sectors and accounts, which cover various audience and activation types from B2B, employer brand and internal comms to non-profit. Theres never a dull day and youll get to apply your creative thinking to an exciting range of challenges.Projects could include strategic activities such as:Content and comms strategy and planningContent and comms audits and competitor researchEmail marketing and nurture journey strategy and planningValue proposition, vision, mission creation - including research, workshops and strategic positioningTone of Voice guidancePR and media strategy and planningAs well as potential creative and journalistic copywriting such as:Video: Video script writing and concept developmentLong form content: Thought leadership, whitepaper, blog and article productionToolkits and guidesYou will partner closely with the Chaos client account and creative/design teams. Youll be client facing, considered a trusted expert and collaborate with multiple partners and stakeholders both internally and externally.Your key responsibilities:It is your responsibility to advise Chaos clients on the best comms and content principles for success. You will need to show initiative and skills that demonstrate your comms and content expertise. This includes being laser-focused on the target audience, following the latest content trends, having an understanding of measurement and KPIs, and having an eagle eye for detail for quality assurance. Ultimately, you are a subject matter expert providing trusted advice, on a scale that can be multi-national, multi-faceted, and at the highest organisational levels.
