This role involves client and prospect liaison and assisting the Head of Content with the day-to-day management and mentoring of the Content Team.Reporting to the Head of Content, you will also build strong relationships with:The Technical TeamThe Paid TeamThe Content and Social Media TeamThe Senior Management TeamThe Administration and Finance TeamRole Responsibilities Include:Create and implement excellent content strategies for our clients and prospectsEffectively communicate and present content strategy to our clients and prospectsBe involved in regular client strategy review meetings and provide feedback to the Content team and Heads of DepartmentsCarry out content audits, competitor research, identifying opportunities for clients to excelCarry out content gap and keyword gap analysisProofread and edit content accurately, offering constructive feedback to peers and to clientsCreate target audience personas to help inform and guide content strategy and to support broader campaign and client activitiesMonitor and analyse client campaign progress and feed back to the Head of Content along with recommendationsAssist with the preparation of monthly and ad-hoc client reports, ensuring that they are timely and accurateMaintain and develop excellent professional relationships with our clients to aid in achieving their objectives and client retentionAssist the Head of Content to manage, mentor and motivate the Content teamCarry out internal content training for the Zelst team as requiredBe involved in the on-boarding of new clientsAssist with the preparation of client presentations and pitches and participate as necessaryAssist with carrying out competitor analysis and identify areas of interest or concern for Zelst, including offering solutions and new ideas to keep us fresh and competitive in the Search Marketing SectorProactively contribute to the wider team with ideation and innovative strategiesWork closely across teams and with key stakeholders to ensure content strategies align with our clients wider marketing campaignsBe responsive to constructive feedbackEnsure accurate completion of time sheetsAdapt to and utilise different software systems used to carry out daily work and activitiesKey Skills, Experience and AttributesMinimum of 3+ years experience in a content roleExcellent proofreading and editing skillsExcellent knowledge of best practices of search content marketing and demonstrable experience implementing thisExperience in building positive client relationshipsAbility to deliver a high level of customer serviceHigh level of knowledge of SEO best practicesStrong understanding of UX design principles and how this affects content strategy developmentExperience in training and coaching team members with the ability to provide productive, meaningful feedbackStrong written and verbal communication skills with team members, clients, prospects and other stakeholdersHighly organised and the ability to multi-task and prioritiseGood level of Microsoft and Google Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Docs and Sheets)Excellent level of attention to detailBe forward-thinkingBe solution-oriented and adaptableBe proactive with a can-do approach to workHave the curiosity and creativity to explore new approaches to challengesPositive mindset and upbeat attitude, bringing value to both our clients and the Zelst TeamCompetent knowledge and familiarity with main social media channels and platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X, TikTok and YouTubeAnalytical skills which will help to provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve ROI for clientsCommercial understanding and mindsetPlace of WorkThe role of Content Strategist is an office-based role, with the possibility of also working from home.35k to 40k per annum, depending on experience and skill set.25 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days plus bank holidays with length of service.Company bonus schemeOpportunities to attend industry events and conferencesOn-site parking availableWork for one of the most established and experienced agencies in the North of England offering job securityOur office dog Pongo is always around for play and a cuddleIs this role for you?#J-18808-Ljbffr
