Position: Lead Site Service EngineerSalary: 40,000 45,000Location: Somerset (commutable from - Weston Super-Mare, Bristol, Glastonbury, Trowbridge, Yeovil)Shift: Monday - Friday (DAYS)OverviewZest are Seeking a proactive Lead Site Service Engineer to oversee daily site services, manage contractors, ensure compliance, and support asset care. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career and take your next step into leadership!Key Responsibilities Maintain facility standards and compliance with regulations (Legionella, PSSR, LOLER, etc.). Oversee contractors, approve critical maintenance, and manage the PTW system. Monitor and update BMS, Cooling Towers, and Effluent Plant. Lead asset care, conduct root cause analysis, and support improvement projects. Ensure health & safety compliance and participate in safety initiatives. Collaborate with operational teams to enhance site knowledge and reduce waste. Assist NPD with trials and equipment solutions.What we are looking for: Experience within Engineering, preferably in food manufacturing or site services. NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; preferred: 18th Edition, BOAS, Legionella.
