Job Opportunity:Associate PartnerTSA Surveying are currently working in partnership with a prominent building consultancy looking to add aAssociate Partner to their Social Housing teamRole Overview:Your responsibilities will include:Assisting and preparing fee proposals and tendersAttending interviews for tendered projectsProject set up, QA and team briefingOversight of large-scale surveys and co-ordination with the Surveyor and Data Team managersProject management and administrationPreparation of survey outputs including decent homes, cost tables and reportingPresenting to client stakeholdersReport writing and development of action plansProvide asset management advice and supportDrafting of strategic documents including asset management and procurementDevelopment of policies, procedures and management plans for clientsUndertake asset performance modelling (including NPV)Developing and prioritising works programmesAdvising on best practice data managementUndertaking asset management function reviews and providing critical friend supportManaging health, safety and compliance reviews and related action plansTeam management including timesheets, expenses, resource allocation, appraisals and recruitmentActing as a point of contact for framework providersBusiness development and marketing activitiesSupport and report to the discipline lead/PartnerIdeal Candidates:Appropriate qualifications or experience in strategic asset management such as RICS, CIOB, CIHCM would be highly desirable including technical knowledge of construction technology relating to residential accommodationSubstantial experience in an affordable housing asset management related role either within a registered provider organisation or consultancy practiceDetailed understanding of strategic issues facing asset managers including social housing white paper, ESG, net zero carbon, fire safety, compliance including decent homes, skills shortages, cost of living, inflation etc.Strong track record within a diverse asset management or property services team with successful delivery of related projects. An ability to inspire, develop and motivate a team creating a collaborative environmentProven acumen and professional skills to make important commercial risk based decisions or recommendationsProven experience of managing large scale condition surveys.A good understanding of best practice guidance related to stock surveys, asset management, decent homes standard and HHSRS will be essentialUp to date knowledge of compliance and statutory best practice and regulatory requirements will be essential in advising clientsBeing positive and driven to deliver excellent services to clients and achieve team business outcomesA naturally innovative mindset providing solutions to clients challengesYou will be numerate and of an analytical mind and high level of intellect - combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendationsIf this job is of interest, please dont hesitate to get in touch!JBRP1_UKTJ
