Exciting opportunity for a Plant Fitter or HGV Technician looking to move to Plant.Salary: 17.00ph - 22.00ph depending on experience plus overtime (basic salary of 40,000 - 51,000 plus overtime)Location:Derby / Midlands and all surrounding locationsWorking Hours:Monday to Friday 45 hours a weekMy client, a busy and ever growing Plant / Heavy Vehicle repair Company, are looking for an experienced Plant Fitter to work mobile from Derby covering all surrounding areas and the Midlands.Key responsibilities:Test vehicles and plant machinery and diagnose faultsRecognise and report vehicle/component defects or symptoms of impending failureService, adjust and repair vehicles/componentsElectrical fault findingHydraulic repairsComplete job recordsEssential Qualities:Previous experience in mechanics (preferably heavy vehicle, Construction vehicles, plant, waste and recycling vehicles and agriculture)Clear understanding of mechanical / hydraulic / electrical systemsTechnical ability - strong electrical fault finding abilitiesQualification in plant, HGV, mechanical engineering is desirableFull UK Driving licenceComputer literate - confident in using software to integrate with machinesAbility to work well under pressureTeam player, honest, reliable, trustworthy and a good time keeperAbility to use own initiativeLiteracy and numeracy skillsAttention to detailProblem solving skills - logical approach to diagnostic tasksWelding and Fabricating are desirableEffective CommunicatorRelated Titles/Experience for thePlant Fitter:Mobile Fitter / Mobile Plant Fitter / Mechanic / Agricultural Engineer / HGV Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Plant Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic / HGV TechnicianIf this mobile role sounds of interest to you then please send your CV to Danica Baker at Sprint RecruitmentJBRP1_UKTJ
