On site canteen.An exciting opportunity for a warehouse supervisor to join the logistics team of major supplier. The role affords you the ability to learn a variety of tasks which will include:Picking customer orders from a specific order profileSome loading and pallet checking will also form part of your working dayDriving a Forklift Truck - CounterbalanceManage and motivate the team ensuring KPI's and deadlines are achievedDevelop and train new and existing team membersManage goods inwardsDisciplinary and grievance managementShift plan and cover holiday and sicknessThe warehouse supervisor role would be ideal for you if you have worked in a warehouse environment previously or have experience of picking and packing within a distribution or goods in good out department. You will have a experience using a counterbalance forklift truck and ideally have an in-licence.As a key part of the operation, you will be working within a distribution setting, but with the benefit of your own small friendly team.
