Main purpose of job Operative working in commercial kitchens, cleaning and servicing extraction systems to BESA TR19 standards and COSHH regulations. Key Tasks To clean parts of a kitchen extraction system as directed by the GHT Team Leader. To ensure that work is carried out in line with Health and Safety (H&S) Regulations To represent the Company on site and promote a professional image at all times. To assist the Team Leader to ensure the vehicle, team tools and specialised equipment are maintained in a serviceable condition. To be successful in the role of Grease Hygiene Operative you will need: Full clean UK driving licence (essential, minor points considered) Experience in grease hygiene industry (preferred) An understanding of the tasks involved. Happy to work at height or cramped spaces where required. Attention to detail. Good communication skills, able to work to deadlines. Good organisational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good physical stamina as this job can involve lifting with the ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time. Good Health & Safety knowledge and experience with a practical approach on site. Willing to work unsocial hours and be flexible to travel or stay away when required (accommodation and food allowance provided). Majority of our services are carried out outside regular working hours, so shift times vary. You will predominately be working in the South. Ideally you will be located in Ashford, Kent. Schedule: Day and Night shifts Monday to Friday. Work location: Working as part of a team based in Ashford Kent. On the road/ on-site. Full uniform and PPE provided. Health & Safety training.
