Salary: 34,452 - 40,427 Ark Support Inner London scale 8 points 19-29 depending on experience pro rata for term time onlyPlease read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.Working pattern: Term timeContract: PermanentStart date: As soon as possibleClosing date for applications: 10.00am on Friday 20 SeptemberInterviews will take place on a rolling basis so early application is advisedAbout the role:You will lead a team to deliver the academys reading intervention programmes and ensure students who have been identified as needing additional help with their reading, including those with SEN/EAL, are supported effectively.You will:Be experienced in establishing successful learning relationships with students, treating them consistently with respect and considerationHave experience of/understanding of the learning support roleHave experience of working with outside agencies and families (desirable)Understand how to effectively implement strategies and routines to help students to improve their learningHave good numeracy and literacy skillsBe organised and be computer literateIf you share our commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you!About our school:Ark Putney Academy opened in September 2012 as part of the Ark network in the London Borough of Wandsworth.
