Mobile Digital Installation Engineer - DarlingtonJob descriptionPlantforce Digital is a leading supplier of specialist GPS solutions to the Plant hire business.Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.As a Division of Plantforce Rentals, you will be joining a successful national supplier of self drive and operated Hire Plant. Plantforce Digital is fast growing and innovative, with an extensive fleet of GPS enabled equipment as well as specialist GPS solutions. We provide an outstanding service in hire, support, installation and training to our quickly expanding customer base.This role will involve supporting the Plantforce Digital division with both installation of Trimble Earthworks, GCS900 and Lecia MC1 machine control systems on site for customers or in one of our depots situated around the UK. You will be fitting wiring harnesses to pre-approved specification set out by the manufacturer, including calibration, welding and fabrication of sensor brackets and mast mounts. The role includes the delivery, installation and set-up of various cab kits for customers on their sites.The territory to be covered includes Darlington and the North of EnglandMain Responsibilities:Delivery and fitting wiring harnesses to pre-approved specification on customer sitesCalibration of harnessWelding and fabrication of sensor brackets and mast mounts.Together with the above, the role would also encompass installation of human form recognition cameras, height and slew restrictors and any other innovations as the role develops.Skills/Experience required:Full driving licenceSound auto-electrical/mechanical knowledgeDigital machine control systems knowledge (Trimble Earthworks and Leica MC1)Previous experience of setting up calibration of excavators and dozersHigh standard of welding/fabrication to include hot worksAbility to read wiring diagramsUnderstanding of Risk assessments and method statementsBehaviours required:Proactive and self-motivatedExcellent communication skillsGood Time ManagementStrong organisational skillsAbility to demonstrate initiative#J-18808-Ljbffr
