Online Editor and Colourist - Full Time - Brighton, UK Virtual Post is a creative & innovative Post house based in the heart of Brighton, working at the forefront of remote post production, producing content for all major Broadcasters.Ensure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.Always on the search for top talent who are enthusiastic and wildly creative, we are now recruiting for an experienced Online Editor/ Colourist, to join our expanding team and contribute towards creating some of the industry's finest work.General job descriptionYou will be working at the facility for external clients across a variety of content, mainly for broadcast, in a fast-paced setting, on a variety of projects including long form factual documentaries, entertainment, music and corporate whether working alone or as part of a creative team.Key duties and responsibilitiesOnline editing and colour grading a range of contentTo oversee the technical aspects of the edit with a working understanding of common technical challenges within a post production environmentOffer creative input, advice and ideas on a range of projects throughout the post-production processAssist in conform and prep of projects for onlineExport and QC reviews/deliverablesPerform QC fixesEssential skills and and requirementsMust have a minimum of 3 years factual broadcast creditsExcellent understanding of final post workflows, delivery specifications and deadlines.Ability to lead on-premises and remote client supervised sessionsAdept at Avid, Resolve and Adobe editing platforms and round tripping / interchanging between them.Experience of online editing and grading broadcast programming for UK and International networksAbility to multitask multiple projectsMust have high attention to detail and be able to adhere to strict deadlinesImpeccable communication skillsIn return we offerCompetitive compensationCareer development and advancement opportunitiesFriendly, open and team-oriented work atmosphereIf you think you have what it takes and would like to be part of a fantastic team please sendan up to date credit list and CV to jobs@virtualpostproduction.com #J-18808-LjbffrRemote working/work at home options are available for this role.
