It also includes Designated Nurses for Safeguarding Children and CLA, Designated Doctors for Safeguarding Children and CLA, and Named GPs.The NWL ICB Safeguarding service covers the boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, and Westminster/Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Safeguarding Adult Nurse/Professional who has a comprehensive knowledge and experience of working in healthcare and across the wider system. The vacant post is in Hillingdon.Main duties of the jobYou will need to demonstrate a good understanding of commissioning organisations and how safeguarding assurance is gathered whilst using your strategic leadership skills to influence the safeguarding portfolio. This will require excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop and sustain productive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of adult protection processes and provide expert advice and support across the NWL health economy, as well as to partner agencies such as the police and local authority.
