If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then were eager to hear from you.We are looking to expand ourMarineEngineeringandNaval Architecturecapability in all levels of experience and are keen to hear from you if you feel youre ready to take the next step in your career.You must be a Sole UK National and qualify forSecurity ClearanceWork ExperienceWork transparently with variousengineeringdiscipline leads / teams to provide clear and concise reports and information regarding progress and management of Risk and Opportunities in relation to theEngineeringactivities.Bring learnings & operationalbest practicesfrom other engagements.Undertaketechnicaland feasibility studies and siteinvestigationsDevelop detailed requirement specificationsSupport projects as they evolve through theproject engineeringlifecyclesAssess the potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertakerisk managementin specialist rolesCommunicate and liaise effectively with a wide set of project stakeholdersSupport governance meetings.Think both creatively and logically to resolvedesignand development problemsBeadaptable, asproject requirementsevolve, and ensure relevant parties are notified of changes in the projectCompile and peer review project andtechnicalreports.Domain KnowledgeDesignand implement cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliabilityShip stability and weight allocationsServicingand operations for a dockyard environmentMarine classification systemMooring and towingShip systems and marine structuresDevelop, test and evaluate theoretical designsRecommend modifications following prototype test resultsUse research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills, particularly those in mathematical modelling and computer-aideddesignConsider the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraintsDesired Skills:Good Communication skills - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.Ability to handle discussions / communications independently.Works in a Collaborative environment.JBRP1_UKTJ
