The successful post holder will provide an administrator service in a busy office environment, dealing with service users, family members, and other professionals from across a wide range of health and social care professionals.We are looking for a friendly, well-organised and motivated individual.Main duties of the jobSummary of the role:To assist with the day-to-day operational administration of the Equipment service.To ensure service delivery and staff information is managed effectively and that all databases are kept up to date.Use of our asset and client record management system to update records and schedule deliveries for the technical and driving teams.Answering phone call and email queries from service users.Working with the management team to highlight issues.Updating of any relevant databases.Working for our organisationAt CHS we understand the differences in delivering our services in complex environments and we have a flexible approach to meet the needs of our customers.Detailed job description and main responsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times.Using the electronic Asset and client record management system.Assisting with the scheduling of deliveries.To provide administration support to the Equipment service.Answer telephone calls in a polite and professional manner.To carry out general office duties such as data-entry, photocopying, laminating, scanning and shredding.To support the teams to maintain accurate records.Attend and take part in team meetings and regular reviews with the line manager(s).To maintain the filing system, including e-filing, for the departments.Deal with incoming/outgoing mail/email for the departments.Be able to input/extract data, using relevant electronic software.Person specificationKnowledge and SkillsFamiliar with Microsoft Office.Good organisational skills.Good verbal and written communication skills.Able to complete allocated work within agreed timescales.Ability to deal with a wide range of people.Demonstrate self-motivation.Ability to learn new skills.Attention to detail.ExperienceExperience of using computer systems.Ability to work independently.Good interpersonal and relationship building skills.Excellent communication skills.QualificationsGood standard of education preferably to GCSE standard or equivalent.Experience of working within a customer-focused setting.GeneralAble to fulfil the health requirements of the post.Must be eligible to work in the UK.Ability to work in various locations throughout the network of services provided by the company.Calderdale and Huddersfield Solutions (CHS) are committed to equal opportunities and welcome applications from all sections of the community.Please ensure your application is submitted with referees who can verify your employment/education history over the last three years.If you are appointed to a post, information will also be transferred into the NHS Electronic Staff Records system.You may be required to undertake a DBS check.
