These are at the heart of everything we do.Contract Type: Full Time, PermanentWorking Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (8:00-4:30), Friday (8:00-4:00)Here at VIVO, we are looking for a Data Analyst to work out of our site in Porton Down, with occasional travel to Portsdown West in Fareham.As part of this role, you will be reporting to the Compliance Manager and be responsible for comprehensive data analysis activities, working with and in support of the VIVO Contract Quality Manager (CQM). This will include the generation of daily and weekly status reports. You will be assisting the CQM in the production of monthly and quarterly reports on service delivery performance, as required under the contract.In addition, you will be working with and supporting the site-based VIVO Audit team, with the aim of confirming that VIVO always remains compliant, in line with the contract Audit Schedule. This role will see you assist with and gain experience of onsite audits, including identifying risk mitigation actions to operations managers. You will be ensuring that processes and procedures are followed and compliant with company policies.Key activities will include:Analysis of data gained from performance reportingCreation of Macro programs to assist in data analysis tasks with a focus on continuous improvementCreation of Process MapsAssisting with assurance audits in line with contract requirementsUsing analysis and reporting to help improve standards and performance of the contractWhen requested by line management, you will be assisting in the investigation of breaches of procedures and provide support for necessary actions, along with being involved with internal company quality audit procedures and working with external auditors when required. You will also be assisting with the formulation and maintenance of the annual audit schedule.For this role you will need:Firstly, you will be working towards a relevant accredited qualification in data analysis and be educated to NVQ Level 2 standard, or be able to show equivalent first-hand experience. You will be IT literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office functions, especially Excel. You will also have experience creating weekly and monthly reports. As this role will require travel to Portsdown West, you will need a clean and valid UK driving licence.It is desirable that you have experience of operating within an MOD environment and have some familiarity with the geography and establishments within your area of responsibility.While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.You must be able to pass Security Clearance at SC level to be considered for this role.
