And now, we're seeking dynamic individuals like you to join us as a 1st Line NOC Engineer!The Role:As a 1st Line NOC Engineer you'll be at the forefront of client support, serving as the first point of contact for IT-related queries.Your responsibilities will include:Triaging and prioritising incoming NOC tickets and notifications (including alerts generated by monitoring systems such as backups, network, servers and any other systems)Coordinating with third-party vendors, customer contacts, or internal departments on NOC ticketsTaking ownership of tickets, seeing them through to resolution or escalating where appropriateMonitoring the performance and capability of computer systems using diversified tools, including but not limited to Windows Server Administration Tools such as Hyper-V, SolarWinds Ncentral, PRTG, Auvik, Azure, and VMwareMaximizing network availability by monitoring performance and troubleshooting network degradation and outagesEnsuring backups are correctly set up and monitoredAssisting in weekly/monthly patching schedulesEnsuring critical and security updates are installed at regular intervalsMaintaining a library of Knowledge Base articles for known issues and best practicesAbout You:To excel in this role, you'll need:Previous experience in IT supportOutstanding customer service and problem-solving skillsProficiency with the latest Microsoft technologiesStrong troubleshooting skills with Microsoft OfficeAbility to administer and support Windows desktopsKnowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNSEvidence of continued professional developmentThe Benefits:Joining Air IT means unlocking a world of perks and opportunities, including:Competitive remuneration packagesHybrid working options for a better work-life balanceGenerous annual leave and bank holidaysExciting staff awards and social eventsOngoing learning and development opportunitiesCycle to work scheme and technology vouchersAt Air IT, we're committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone thrives.
