Consultant Microbiology Vacancy - HertfordshireWe have been appointed by a large NHS Trust in Hertfordshire to assist them in recruiting two Consultants in Microbiology on a substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis.Is this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.The department provides a comprehensive microbiological service to the hospital sites and to the community generally. All Microbiology tests (including Serology) are processed in the hub Laboratory at Addenbrooke's Hospital, run by Public Health England (PHE).Consultants have regular contact with the hub laboratory. They are members of several clinical and technical committees (such as the East of England Medical Microbiology Development Group) and attendance of the consultants at some of these meetings is expected. Opportunities for joint research and audit projects are available.
