The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our market leading client based in the Barnsley area. We are looking for experienced Class 2 Sweeper Drivers to join the team. Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 07:00am start times. MAY be required to work away. Pay Rate: 15.00 per hour PAYE. If working away, hotel will be paid for and 25 night out payment. Location: Barnsley, S75. Job Type : Temporary to permanent. The Role Operate street sweeping vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Navigate designated routes while adhering to established schedules. Perform routine maintenance tasks on sweeping equipment as needed. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns. Will be required to work away from home, with accommodation provided in a paid hotel. Requirements Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 3 points on licence (minor offences only). Have a minimum of 2 years proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. Have a full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to work away from home in paid accommodation as required. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
