Transport Supervisor 34,000 per annum Letchworth Mon Fri 40hrs per weekInteraction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Transport Supervisor for a waste management company based in Letchworth. This is temp-perm position with the opportunity to go full time. Our client needs a well-rounded individual who can think on their feet, and work in a fast passed environment. This is a Monday Friday position with start times varying between 06:00 14:00 or 08:00 17:00Key Responsibilities Ensure all operations are compliant with Health and Safety Standards, Company Policies, Procedures and Waste Management LegislationEffective management of resources and services report any problems to Contract ManagerEnsure your team and operations meet targetsConduct daily and weekly audits to ensure all operations meet Health and Safety StandardsMaintain work reports and vehicle logsUpdate employee/ related paper work to include time sheets, holidays, sickness/absenceOrganisation staff communications, meeting and trainingCarry out any other such reasonable job related tasks as the company may require you to undertake from time to time Key Knowledge / Qualifications Management or Supervisory qualificationEffective Organisational and planning skillsPrevious experience working in the Waste IndustryExperience in quality controlExperience in conducting auditsIOSH qualification Key Characteristics Previous experience of working with or managing a team.Previous experience of Street Sweeping and/or Refuse Collection (as appropriate).Minimum basic computer skills.LGV Licence (desirable) Digital Tacho Card, Valid CPC Card (as appropriate).Must be willing to assist on street cleansing / collections as required For more information please contact Jay / INDLEIJBRP1_UKTJ
