You will manage the contractual and commercial relationship with clients and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning clients' contracts.Your day to day might look a little like this:Propose and implement the contract management strategy on claims, variations, amendments, and any critical contract-related mattersProvide support on drafting, negotiation, and execution of key subcontracts and agreementsSupport the subcontracts contracts manager on main subcontracts to co-manage with project sourcingContribute to monthly project reports, summaries, and presentationsLead any due diligence involving liaising with legal, planning, finance, insurance and work package managers A bit about youIdeally, youll be based in the UK and are comfortable with commuting to project and client offices in the North East, London & Scotland on a regular basis.Youll have experience in managing large-scale construction contracts, plus a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, commercial, or legal fields.A few other key skills our client is looking for:Comprehensive contracts and commercial experience in contracts/projects with critical interfaces and complex infrastructureAbility to work effectively in a complex matrix organisationRisk Management experience in project executionExperience in developing, negotiating and managing construction subcontractsProven track record in negotiation and resolution of complex contractual issuesWant to hear more?If this role has sparked your interest, get in touch with Will Adamthwaite (will.adamthwaite@fmctalent.com).If you want more information on what the core duties are for this role, we can send the job description your way!A few more detailsReference number: 19037Temporary or Permanent Position: PermanentFMC Talent
