The Role This is an exciting opportunity for a Freight Account Manager to support our Southampton office with its commercial needs. We are looking for someone with experience in freight account management who can start making an impact from day one. Key Responsibilities: Source and manage a personal portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring you deliver a tailored and personable service that builds customer loyalty Ensure repeat business by enabling all jobs to run efficiently and correctly. Drive GP growth by identifying new customer opportunities across multiple product lanes and securing ongoing shipments. Providing and following up quotes directly with customers. Building close relationships with new and existing suppliers. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring we have clear profit margins on all accounts and jobs, maximising these wherever possible.
