We cover the whole population of North Staffordshire including Stoke on Trent and Newcastle Under Lyme.This is a part-time role within the Ophthalmology department, and we are extending our Medical Retina service to meet the demands of the service and the needs of our patients. We welcome applications from Registered Nurses with a minimum of three years ophthalmic experience to join our team.The successful candidate will be working with the Medical Retina / Macular Consultants at UHNM. We work very closely with all our ophthalmology teams and health care professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse who is dynamic, friendly, and strives to provide an excellent standard of care.The primary role of this job opportunity is that of a Nurse Injector providing intra-vitreal injections for patients with Age Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Macular Odema, and Retinal Vein Occlusions. Having the skills to inject is desirable but not essential, as competencies and an in-house training package will be provided.
