The team has been growing further recently and now has an opportunity for a senior associate to add further depth to the department.Work includes:Advising in relation to ownership structures and sale and purchase agreementsCommercial matters such as charter contracts operation, repair and refit agreementsRecycling and reconditioning contractsContracts in relation to offshore projects, e.g., involving everything from wind turbines to oil rigs.Bright and passionate lawyersThe successful candidate will be a talented corporate/commercial lawyer who is interested in working with a thriving shipping team. The work is very varied. Recent examples have involved:Advising a major cruise company on repair and refit of its vesselsCorporate restructure of a large passenger ferry businessDecommissioning and recycling contract of an oil rig for a major international oil companyThe partners are keen to speak with lawyers with a genuine passion for this area of work. Ideally, candidates should have previous experience in this area of practice.
