Senior Structural Engineer Sheffield Join a forward-thinking engineering consultancy in Sheffield as a Senior Structural Engineer, where youll play a key role in delivering high-quality structural solutions across a diverse range of projects. From bespoke commercial developments to residential alterations and extensions, youll be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring excellence in design, safety, and efficiency. Youll also benefit from flexible working arrangements, with the option to work fully remotely or in a hybrid capacity. What Does the Role Entail? As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will take the lead in structural design calculations, ensuring all projects align with British Standards and Euro Codes. Youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Youll also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, managing smaller projects independently, and contributing to larger schemes as part of a dynamic team. Additionally, you will be involved in business development activities, assisting with fee proposals and tender submissions to support the companys continued growth. What Skills Will You Have? To thrive in this role, you should have a strong technical background in structural engineering with a solid understanding of British Standards and Design Codes. You should be proficient in Tekla, CADS, and Tedds, with knowledge of AutoCAD considered an advantage. Excellent communication skillsboth written and verbalare essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and solve complex engineering challenges with confidence. Ideally, you will be Chartered or working towards Chartership with the IStructE or ICE, and have a minimum of five years experience in a similar role. What Is On Offer?
